I love down. I have a down bag for bivvying in and it's like sleeping in a warm cloud. Enjoy and let us know how you get on with it

was a bit to warm for the down gilet, maybe its more for cold camping, but weather was truly awful and paths were like streams, found out that one of my boots is leaking >:( i'd like to think that water came in over the ankle but as i was wearing waterproof trousers and gaiters (yes john!) thats unlikely :(
-
gaiters?! Who has hacked liams forum account :o
-
He was a gaiter boy, she said see ya later boy
-
...He wasn't cool enough for shoes!
-
Weathr wasn't so crap today, loads of snow in the hills, should have worn my gaiters as it kept getting into my boots >:(
-
Gonna have to grab me a pair of gaiters, though I think I'll grab a pair of decent boots first. What is your boot of choice?
-
Scarpa for me.
Some of the leather Karrimor boots looked pretty impressive in Sports Direct if you don't want to spend mega bucks. Most of them half price at the mo.
