Well I managed to get a mid-week camp squeezed in last night. A quick nip up and down Lamagan and back into work.
The weather was perfect until we got up this morning and the clouds just made the cold feel extra cold and damp :(
Pitches for the tents were not easily found and in the end I had to sacrifice my paracord bracelet to get my tent pitched as the soil was too thin to hold a couple of the pegs.
I found my enjoyment of eating actual food and not rehydrated stuff again which I dunno is good or not :D

Quality Dave! That burger shot looks amazing :P
Would love to join you sometime.

Two summit camps in one week Dave. Is this what you have to do to prevent the child keeping you up at night! ;D

It's a slippery slope you'll be back up to 70 litres before you know it!
Well done getting another cheeky overnighter in :) and on a school night too. What time did you break camp at this morning? And is that the first time the Voyager has been on hills without you being in it?
I must say the high pressure that we have had for the last couple of weeks has been fantastic weather for camping - raging I haven't managed any!
-
nice one dave ;D ;D ;D

Ok and a stove :P

Great stuff, mate, you're making us all look bad ;)
What are the details for the fuel and burn time for the hobo? I'm getting tired carrying full firelogs around again, might go back to hobos again.
-
It was just a 99p firelog cut in two. Lasted about 3hrs in our wee sheltered spot with a bit of nudging at the end to hasten it so we could go to bed :) I had thought about some proper logs from the woodburner at home but tbh he firelogs are convenient and easy to light so didn't bother.

Did it burn okay just cut in 2 chunks?

Yeah it was grand.
-
Where do you get them for that price? They're always £3.50+ when I'm buying them.
Yeah it was grand.
-
Really????!!!! I think it's B&M. I've never seen them that price except in B&Q and I would never pay that.

Another great night Typo, you'll have done every summit by the end of the month, karma. :)
