Title: North Coast Walk
Post by: Peeweeperry on February 19, 2013
Hi guys,
So I was lucky enough to go hiking yesterday in that beautiful weather!  Walked 14 miles - Giant's Causeway to Kin Bane Castle.  The last 4 miles were on the road and when I got to Kin Bane, the path was closed due to land slide.... but it got me thinking... Giant's Causeway to the Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge (1o miles) is a lovely walk!  Maybe we should plan one for Easter time.... Just a thought!

I am thinking of going there for easter so might be a plan. Here is infomation on the landslide that you are talking about. Would this be the location?

That part of the coastal path did give me some trouble - scrambling was required!! It is manageable though! The part I was talking about was the route down to Kin Bane Castle - it is completely closed  :( What date were you thinking in Easter? Maybe try and get a group of us!

Probably Easter Monday onwards. It might be difficult getting a group on the Actual Easter weekend. I notice that the Easter Camping Weekend is on after the Easter weekend.
