Title: Multi Fuel Stoves - Fuel Question
Post by: Big Dod on January 17, 2013
Good Evening Folks,

I have no experience with multi fuel stoves and as I am considereing a optimus nova plus I have a question.

Where'd you get your fuel?

Turn up at the petrol station with a plastic 'thing' that you use if the car runs outa gas and fill it from that?

Whats the preferred fuel to use in these things?

Thanks,
Geo...

Hi, you can use fuel from a garage, either petrol or diesel depending on the stove but it is recommended and a lot cleaner to burn white gas or kerosene. These bottles can be purchased at most outdoor stores. With most stoves you get an empty fuel bottle which you can fill up with petrol/diesel. You will have to clean the stove and fuel line a lot more often if using petrol or diesel as the additives will clog up the parts quicker.
