That was unlucky.

I would have been tempted to go to the climbing at the Ozone but that has put me right off ;)

Don't let it. That is by no way what climbing is like. You should come down to have a look.

How can you tell that's a VS? It looks harder than that with the run out he has. More like a E2 or E3

@ phil_b - firstly he was leading the route and if you came to the ozone and by your response I assume your a beginner you would be top roped so you would not fall more than about a foot.
Secondly the title says its a 60' fall and the ozone wall isn't even that high :) and it has solid anchor points the whole height that won't pull out if you did have a big fall while leading a route.
If your thinking about coming down - do it. It's nothing like that video.
the guys are spot on,you'll be fine- ;D
-
At the start of the video the grade 6c/7a is stated - thats around e5
Thats tricky stuff - too tricky for me!
-
Apparently too tricky for them also.

I was only joking when i said i would let it put me off, i have seen pics of you guys at the Ozone and i know it is completely safe.
Might try to get up to it over xmas or new year hols but tuesdays are the worst days of the week for me work wise. I do a good bit of ladder climbing and tree surgery at work so would like to think i could make a decent attempt at wall climbing.
