Just a quick Post to say hello to all .., I stumbled upon this site while I was researching wild camping spots in the Mourne's. After a LONG layoff fom camping I have decided to once again take up my love affair with the outdoors and get my backside back into the wild. I'm sure within time i will be asking for some helpful advice and nice spots to take myself and my pooch off for an overnight stay or a full weekend. I look forward to getting to know those of you who will be kind enough to help.
many thanks, Jonny

Hey jonny :-)

finally getting round to go for a nights camping this coming Sat ;D thanks for the warm welcome !! for those who are asking I have 2 very well behaved golden retrievers .. 1 is 3 years and the other is 1 year and is the ballsy one so she will be coming with me as I know she will love it. regarding its behaviour I have no worries about her as she is very obedient and if I tell her to be by my side or to heal she will not move so I have no worries about her. As I read on the link to think about other walkers who don't know my dogs temperament I always make sure they are beside me when walking past people. But I will make sure I bring her lead with me also. Any nice spots for a nights stay ? I have a few but I'm open to suggestions. preferably not far from annalong
