Title: Hello
Post by: john.t5 on July 29, 2012
Just found this forum and read about a bit and it looks great. I like to think of myself as an outdoorsy sort of person but then realise I never make the time to do it, anyhoo I've just ordered a mountain bike which I'm keen to get out on and abuse it. Used to get out on the bike and do a lot of coarse fishing and a bit of walking with my son but since he found beer and women I have lost my companion!! I'm determined to get out and cycle and hike and camp and fish a lot more now before I get too old and regret not making the most of my time here. Looking forward to chatting to you all. The only camping I do at the minute tends to be at scooter rallies where I attempt to drain the bar of lager before rolling towards my tent 8)

Finding/making time to get out and do the things we love.

Something I think we're all guilty of

Too true Oisin, my life is riddled with problems though and I'm hoping getting out more will help!!! 8)

I have the same problem, tend to spend time working when I should be camping. To make matters worse Im looking around for a px125 to give me another distraction. Dont reccommend drinking too much on a wild camp as the walk home can be a living nightmare ( I knowm experience )

PX125 mate? Get something a bit different like a smallframe Vespa or a nice Lammy or at least a Mk 1 T5 - much more fun  ;D

Hi ther, you'll get the encouragement here to get out and at it.  The relief you get from being out really is the best medicine for most problems caused by today's life.  Here's hoping you need new tyres very soon due to them getting worn down!
