Hi all,
I work for a local charity and in this economic climate funds are hard to come by in the charity sector. I have an idea to put together a 3-4 day expedition by canoe/kayak, camping out, perhaps a few 'tasks' along the way and possibly a visit from a well known celebrity in our area.
Who would be up for the challenge? and what sort of ammont would it be fair to ask people to raise in order to participate?
(Some similar expeditions ask participants to raise £1000 - the parachute guys ask for minimum £250 and the three peak challengeasks for minimum of £500)
There will be an expedition leader (qualified and paid) and staff will depend upon the size of the group we take onto the water and into the wild. If you are interested and want to be kept informed - send me a response here with your e-mail address and I will set up a seperate excel sheet and keep you informed of progression via e-mail - I don't know dates yet but if there is a good response, talks will begin soon with the expedition leader.
