Does anyone have any contacts or know of a good place to get climbing wall hand holds? (i.e. any old second hand ones from a club that doesn't use them anymore?)
New is grand as well just a cheaper alternative would be great.
Thanks
If you don't know what they are you will when you see them

I'd like to know this too, my manager wants to build a climbing wall.
You thinking of putting a few up around the house Oisin?
-
Not around the house as such, but there are ideas to build a bouldering area in our Scout Hall for the little 'uns.
Of course I'f have to test it first.
-
had thought about doing the same in our scout hall, but check the insurance to see if you're covered first!
have you tried ebay? i remember seeing some going for approx £1 per hold if you bought in bulk, they're were probably wee small ones though
-
As far as I'm aware as long as the holds aren't over 6ft tall then its not a problem (could be wrong), and all you need is a helmet.
I checked on ebay and they seemed to start around that price, only thing was you had to buy a pack of 100. I'm not even sure if you could fit in 100 holds, its probably much more than you'd think ;D
