Hi,
Moved to Newcastle from Carnlough (Co. Antrim) and while recently looking for a fun activity to keep me amused when I'm at home (Work in North Sea on rigs) I found you lovely people ;)
I've been walking in the Mournes for the past few years with the familly and my 2 mutts.
Cant get enough of trees and mountains.
I've been reading through all sorts of posts on here and still have to get some kit together but looking forward to meeting / joining some of you in the future.
Than, whilst waiting for my registration to be approved I discovered Paragliding.
I have no idea how much weight a paramotr can hoist into the air but hoping to maybe combine the two ;D
Best Regards,
Geo...

I like the sound of this Big Dod.........summit camps being air-dropped with supplies of chocolate, wine and fire logs from BD Airways. It will make for lighter packs to carry up ;)
Welcome to the forum.

Exactly what I thunked.
Weather permitting, air supply / resupply for existing happy campers and peak to peak for myself in good weather...
You never know, you may wanna get into this yourself.
(I'll post more details of the Scholl I've found in the relevant section)
Mournes Paraglider from Tyella beach.
