Title: Can anyone help me learn to skin/gut for food and pelts
Post by: 8thsinner on June 16, 2012
Is there anyone here based in belfast or has a car and has access easily enough to belfast as I don't have a car, often in a position involving skinning and working with animals willing or able to teach me.
Books and that might explain things well enough, but I am the sort of person who learns from experience much better.

In reference to the skins for me it's a leather working side of things, making rawhide, brain tanning and bark tanning that sort of thing. I don't have much interest in the taxidermy side of things so I am not sure these types of workshop would do me any good.
