How bad was today !!!!! Stuck working outside today and got soaked to the gills...
Was listening to u105 and frank Mitchell had the main man from the met office on the phone, I'm afraid he's sayin we're in for a rainy summer, looking at the way the atmosphere is, it's looking similar to 2007 and he was saying that we've now already had the best weather we can expect this year!!!
Sorry ta be the bare'er of bad news!!! I now am officially depressed, where have the summers gone I remember as a kid!!!

I never mind the rain.... When I look at a beautiful landscape anywhere in the country I always am aware that without the rain it wouldn't be as lush.

I was out in it myself, up the granite trail this morning and then Tollymore in the afternoon with a group. The Shimna was pumping, Bloody Bridge was the same.. Good for paddlers!

I dont mind a bit of rain, but that persistant heavy rain is not fun to be out in..We see enough rain and grey skys in our winters, a good summer aint too much to ask for. It seems our summers are non existant anymore, I remember summers when I was a kid and they wernt like these 1's we have now adays....

We might live to regret not having done a bit more while the weather was great :(
