well having wrote at least two letters & countless email's to the M.H.T i'am asking for views about a subject from you guys. For at least the past 4-5 years now the granite seats inside donard summit tower are lying broken & smashed, indeed the inside of the tower stinks of urine & has become nothing more than a dumbing ground ;D ,lol. Having done a wee bit of brickwork over the years i studied over the damaged caused, after a good clean up :P it appears that the granite needs put back & repointed, all the stones look like there still intact, its just a case of arranging & securing, would anybody else have an interest in helping out if i got permission ? ???

count me in john (work permitting as always!)

i'm up for it, not carrying the blue circle though! would i then be able to inscribe my initials on the tower ::)

Im useless at building or handiwork - but ill help haul up some of the stuff

Just go do it...
They prob are having some debate about the H&S of it all or something which is holding them up and they will eventually say no...
I didn't see you fix it, no one else seen you fix it...
The Mourne Wreck Your Heritage Trust won't know about it till it's set hard and who in their right mind is going to go up there and smash it all up again...?

I'm in agreement with Drongo - just do it :-)
If you require a serf to assist with materials transport let me know

Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission ;)
