 Polar Buff
 Vango Cyclone 200+ tent.

That was a tricky one Lenny but i had to base my decission on the trips and enjoyment ive had with it, ive had some unforgetable views and good laughs with mates using that vango.

I wish i could find a woman like that wee tent, cheap, good to look at, and when it gets in your way you can shove it in the cupboard  ;D ;D

 UV Buff

Wear it any time of year, keeps the bald head warm or from burning in the sun.
Also great under a warmer hat to stop the irritation as the day go's on, if you get too warm take the hat off but keep on buff to stop the instant head freeze  ;D.

^ Lenny, I'm doing this to help, but darn it hurts to pick  :-\  Merino socks are thin & light: they don't stink, never give me blisters and keep my feet warm when they inevitably get soaked. Happy feet = happy days. When you carry only the essentials, every item of gear is your favourite in that moment when you use it!

DPM Army Issue Gortex Bivvy Bag

The DPM bag has changed my whole approach to camping.  I believe if I was wanting to camp ultra ultra ultra light I could carry just my Bivvy Bag and some Pre-prepared food and I would need nothing else but the clothes I'm wearing.

With the Bivvy Bag I can also camp anywhere in almost any weather conditions.  A tent limits your location as it can be impossible to pitch on solid rock formations found on summits etc and wind can tear it apart in exposed areas.

With supplies and my bivvy bag I reckon I would be good for a few days anywhere.
