Title: Drift HD cameras
Post by: twentyclicks on April 10, 2012
Just seen these going cheap on Sport Pursuit (http://www.sportpursuit.co.uk/drift-hd-cameras)... certainly a lot less than a GoPro.
Anybody know anything about them?

Accessories too - there is a tripod-stick thing like a few of you were talking about down to £12.

Attached is a basic screen-grab to give you an idea without having to sign up...

I have a drift x170 and its not the same, but its good if your going for a drive when its stuck to ur helmet, but if your walking in a forest with different lights, the camera doesn't detect very well with the surrounding light, one second you will have a clear video, and then the next second it gets really dark. and it does that right through the video.

So it depends what your using it for.

Cheers. I was looking around and it seems you can only adjust the settings before hand... if it doesn't adjust automatically, a forest setting will definitely give problems.
