Might be worth mentioning that Trek have a lifetime warranty on their Frames if you have the reciept. (and are or claim to be the original Owner ;) )
I had a 5 year old frame I broke last year. Sent them the frame and they replaced it with a new one. 8)

I was just wondering if they made hydraulic V Brakes... mregan, what do you top hydraulic disk brakes up with? Is it just hydraulic oil?
-
DOT 5.1 brake fluid. You would then need to purchase a bleed kit etc. best option is take your brakes to your local bike shop until you know what you are doing.
There is hydraulic v brakes but are pretty rare over here. I think Magura make them or made them. I have no experience of them.
