Title: What does the NI 'WILD' mean to you?
Post by: baramech on February 28, 2012
 Hey Guys
Got a wee question for a few of you.
As of late, ive been contemplating what NI has in terms of 'Wilderness'. Anytime i seem to take the notion of roaming far and wide, i always feel a little too close to civilisation.  Now it could be a case of not pushing myself far enough, but unfortunately being a bit photo obsessed ... i get easily distracted :P

So what im asking is if some of you could give me a few of your own perceptions of the NI 'Wilderness'? Whether you feel we don't really have one? Whether you feel its become too saturated with human influence to be truly wild anymore?
Understand its a tad vague, but if some of you could either give me a few lines of your thoughts etc? locations, or even examples of places where the 'wild' has been wrought with external influences.
Reason im asking is because im trying to compile a bit of a cross section of opinion :)
ANY help would be very much appreciated guys :) Feel free to PM

Gary
