Tollymore are running another of their 6 week climbing courses for women. I've managed to miss the last few they've run. Might be of interest to some of the other females on here or for the men who are constantly complaining about their partners who don't share their interests!!

Thanks Annie. I'm not going to get a chance to get down before the course starts, but I might take you up on that after the course finishes. Just wondering about footwear. Did you start off in runners or do you need rock shoes from day 1?

I've used ordinary trainers a few times, but as you get better you'll want to use the rock shoes, they have them for hire there along with all the other gear you'll need.
Tollymore also do free tuition every Tuesday 7-9pm (you still have to pay your entry fee of £5 + gear hire if needed)

The course fee includes all the gear you need including footwear. £30 for the 6 week course is fantastic value... I bought the DMM package from Jacksons sports and joined MI so the entry fee is only £3.50... :)
