34.
How many of us sit in an office all day during the week? I do.
-
yeah me too.... I spend way to much time on my ass and in a lab without windows. That why I love/need to get onto the hills.
-
Me also, windowless office up a shitload of stairs. Sucks big style. Lets all win the lottery and spend our days on a hill somewhere.

Interesting Post. To those who are 40 and above, have you always been into this kind of thing or did you have a "mid life crisis" and feel that adventure and life were passing you by? (this is an honest question, I'm not judging anyone)
For myself, I'm 41 and I have been into "camping", or as it's now known, "Bushcraft", for as long as I can remember.
-
I'm 35 and have been into "Bushcraft/Outdoors" from an early age.
-
Hi guys.
I first went "extreme camping" when I was a teenager in the Army Cadet Force.
Been dabbling about it ever since.
First "bushcraft" gear was bought from a place in Belfast called "Ma Abraham's" in the early 70's. Bet none of you have ever heard of that shop ..... :D
Alan.

What's "Extreme" camping? Is it like camping in a Volcano? or did you take an Ironing board? :D
-
Another over 40 here, 42 to be presise ;D
-
rofl....some of the ironing board stuff is good.....lol
But No, not that extreme.......lol

Suppose I best tell you a bit about myself.
I work as an audio engineer and am starting University to study Electrical and Electronic Engineering after dropping out of Biomedical Sciences last year ::).
I mainly spend my time making things and have just made a knife and am going to make more. I'm also looking to build a microlight but that will be in the more distant future. I've always loved outdoors and usually go camping with the dog (a black and tan jack russell).
I will try everything once, so I hope to get out to a lot of the meets and stuff
