Alec Newman is one of my favourite actors :-) He's not quite as beefy in this as he was as an augment in Star Trek though.

Not a lot of climbing, true, but I found it had less cheese factor than something like vertical limit.

I saw this movie last night... Definitely gripping stuff but there's a few really silly bits that makes it look like it's been filmed in a rush.  No spoilers, but there's one bit where the climbers can't cross a river about 20ft wide that's littered with stepping stones when they are used to scaling 500ft rock faces  ???

Melissa George makes it a great watch too  ;)

I would defo recommend it though.
