Title: Monday Ben Crom jaunt
Post by: spartan00117 on December 30, 2011
Hi I was thinking about heading up to Hares Gap on Monday and then doing a trek around the peaks of Ben Crom reservoir.  I was just wondering if Im allowed to cross the dam wall itself as I see there are gates on it or is this a big No No.  Any advise would be much appreciated and if any one wants to tag along then your more than welcome.  Plan is to leave meelmore lodge about 10am hopefully.

Hi Spartan, you should be able to walk across the top of the damn,I,ve used it to get from one shore to the other. As you probably know, theres a little path right next to the eastern shore will take you to the shelter stone, then a nice path direct back up to Hares gap. Hope thats of some help. Have a Good one. :D
