Title: sharpening stone

Hi after playing by the fire last night i noticed how blunt my axe has become and also my knife . I thought the  good old kitchen sharpener would do but i realise im going to have to spend money :-[

can anyone recommend a good set that would do both. but im yhnking im going to have to buy seperate stones

Tis a good stone, I'd use one on my Gransfors but not my knives unless I'd nothing else...

For my good knife it's a bench waterstone for it's normal edge and a pocket one for the field

cheers i will use that stone for my knife too as it only cost £12 im not responsible enough for a good knife
