If anyone is interesting in a 10 miler up Sawel and Dart . (The highest point in Col Derry) I am planning a dander late in Jan on the weekend of the 28/29th Jan. Here is the route http://t.co/1Af9y2ck (http://t.co/1Af9y2ck) starting and finshing at the old Sperrin Heritage Center on the B47.
( For those Belfastians and Mourners .. Take M2 North following signs for L’Derry and head to Magherafelt. In Magherafelt, follow signs for B40 Desertmartin/ Draperstown. Once in Draperstown follow signs for B47 Plumbridge, going first through village of Straw NB: After approx 2 ½ Kms out of Straw village you need to turn right (following signs for B47 Plumbridge and 1 km after that, you need to turn right at T-junction. Same signs. Continue along road for approx another 14 Kms (8 ½ miles) Sperrin Heritage Centre is on right of road. )
