Hi Folk
As some of you's know already, i'am organising a charity walk of Slieve Donard on the 4th March 2012.The aim of the walk to to raise funds for the Ulster hospitals ICU unit and to raise awareness of Weil's disease.which is a water-bore disease that has devastating effects on the human body. This is caused by rats urine in the water.A friend of mine Harry Russell,a keen canoeist and outdoor pursuits instructor contacted the disease on a local river. He was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Ulster hospital,Dundonald. On admission Harry was seriously ill,but thankfully now he's making a recovery. We would like to raise some funds to support the good work done by the I.C.U.unit and also raise awareness of this deadly disease.I've arrange for some local and national press to take some photo's today at Donard park car-park ,Newcastle at 3pm,these photo's will also be used on our facebook page as well as in the local papers,i would greatly appreciate if anyone could attend the photo-shoot,which i'am sure would only take ten minutes.
Many thank JS
