I was just thinking of having a quick overnighter to Lough Shannagh next Friday night via Banns road. Might give some of the zephyros purchasers a chance to try them. I was thinking of heading down after work say 5-6 ish.

very tempted, but have a busy day on 26th starting at 9am, may just pop up for a visit from ott car park and test my night nav skills ;)

I should be good for an overnighter on Friday all being well. Lough Shannagh is as good a spot as any to camp, although I'm not sure I fancy the walk in by Banns Road. I've taken that route a couple of times and it's a long trudge up a featureless, rocky double track. Think Trassey Track. That said I'm all out of suggestions for how to get there that doesn't involve a route we've already taken countless times or a needlessly arduous journey...

Not officially, but if you leave a note in your window saying your not coming back until the morning they turn a blind eye.

I'm in for this one...

Now you've got me worried... I'm a bit rumbly myself this morning and I've got a pretty major exam to sit tomorrow at 9:30 :(

Do we want to postpone this event until the NI Wild illness has passed?

I wouldn't mind to be honest... My rumblings this morning didn't come to anything but I have a killer sore throat which is usually the sign of worse to come!!!
