Hi my name is robert, I come from belfast, I loved camping when I was a kid, and have not been since. I decided to give it ago now as my brother has talked me into it. but this includes hiking along trails and stuff which is new to me. my main hobbie is airsoft, airsoft is simular to paintballing but without paint and less painful. ( this info is for people that don't know what airsoft is), I like airsoft because it involves me running and working as a team and great way to meet new friends, and its a way to enjoy to be as close as a soldier but without the danger.
Camping would be another hobbie I would like to get into. also I just recently found a new hobbie I never knew off, "geocaching". for people that don't know what that is, geocaching is where you hike with a gps and try and find hidden boxes or containers, basically treasure hunt, when you find one you open it up and you will find a notepad and a pen to sign ur name, and there will be other stuff that you can trade in that box. rules is, if you take something out of a box then you must put something back in the box the same value or greater of the item you just taken. also you must put the box back where you found it, so other people will be looking for it.
its a good fun and its a good way to get the family out with the kids.
anyway I hope none of this breaks any rules of this website, if it does, then please feel admin to re-edit this.

welcome robert, i tried airsoft once and loved it (even went and bought an ak47 :o ), been meaning to get back again, also partial to the geocaching myself as are many others here

I go alot when I can afford it. I have my own gear and airsoft weapons.

I have g36c, mp5k, thundermaul (basically A M4 carbine, just has a futuristic shell on it), m16, and a pistol.

Welcome Robert. Geocaching is an excellent way to ease yourself into hiking and camping.
I did consider airsoft until I realised how much the guns were!

You're not a mate of Danny Dee by any chance are you?
he is in shadow ops. I think I have seen him, and spoken to him, I think I last seen him at trigger happy airsoft. I don't know him as a mate really, only as a acquaintance.
I know alot of people at airsoft, so its really difficult for me to know who's who.
well might be going to that christmas camp.
