Found this wee bivi spot on Eagle,would be fine for two,looked like it was used recently

That's a great photo John, i like the solid rock Tarp you brought with you  :)
I've never bivvied before but that's the kind of waterproof protection i'd be looking for, good find.

Is there space enough to lie down?

Loads of space for one,snug for two,i would think the Boulder on top is secure,it would take the force of an equal boulder to dislodge it.Think it had being used recently as there was a few bit of rubbish lying about,it's about 6-7 foot long by about 3 foot wide, i marked it as a waypoint,i'll have a check.
