Hey guys and gals, I'm going to do a fairly short walk on Saturday 5th November, starting off at silent valley, drop down onto the road, up the annalong valley where we will meet out first cave, percey bysshe. I've never been in this one yet so someone with experience here would be nice. from there its over to cove to go up through its cave, up onto Slievelamagan and down into silent valley again. Aim to be at silent valley for 11am. Interested give me a shout. add me on fb. christopher craig.

Hi Chris, it sounds like your gonna have an good day, it makes a nice change at times to do a wee bit of exploring rather than the constant trudge up and down hills.
Whorya and myself have been through Cove twice now and its been real good crack, its amazing the shapes you can bend your body into lol.
Im dont know if ill be able to join ya on this one but enjoy yourelf, and watch those rocks, theres some slippy wee buggers.
Alan.

I've been through cove already, It's Percy I'm not so sure about. Either way I'll have some fun exploring it.

There is a knack to climbing up through Cove cave...pushing up by placing your boot in the face of the person behind. Hey it worked for me ;D

similarly for getting into the second chamber at percy bysshe, but last man in has a problem so i brought a wee tripod stool to give me the extra lift ;)

Would a few short ropes advised? Also is Percy one way in and one out or is it back the way you came?
