Post by: LandyLiam on October 24, 2011
I spotted this yolk and was thinking it might make a good alternative to the tarp when bivvying

this way you get a ground sheet to keep all your gadgets dry (i bring a lot of gadgets!)

probably not too good if very windy but easy to unpeg and turn against the wind, probably quite light too, i have one in the attic somewhere, you may see it on a mountain near you soon  ;)

says you with the posh lidl tent  ;D

another bonus is that the flap can zip up making a tent if the weather gets really bad, would be ok for a short arse like me, you'd have to curl up in a ball though  :)

Wonder what would happen if there was a decent gust of wind. You could end up doing a Mary Poppins.
