currently reading this book, and by chance i had it in the car when we where in newcastle today when the author (neil powell) pulled up beside us in his rescue dog van, my darling wife took the book out of the car and got it signed for me while i was in the shop :) then i met neil myself when i came out of the shop and had a quick chat, amazingly he only gets 60p for each book sold :o and he was just back from a callout in ballymena and had to pay the fuel for the journey himself, so don't forget to give a wee donation to SARDA when you get the chance ;)

That's pretty poor that he only gets 60p a book.
-
Maybe he should sell it through his website to get a larger cut.

I don't think it's that straightforward when you're working through a big publisher. He probably doesn't even own the rights.
