Title: One for the geek in us... (and music lovers)
Post by: twentyclicks on October 07, 2011
I had the pleasure to help set-up for a local music video, which was just launched last night. You'll see what I mean if you have any liking for comics, sci-fi, movies: there's little references everywhere! Pure creative and collaborative effort from a bunch of skilled 'Local Superheroes'  8)

The tune is pretty rocking too. There's a load of older videos and free song downloads on Bandcamp - think the link is in the YouTube description. Enjoy!

The music is good. How did you get involved in this?

I liked Jay and Silent Bob at the end too!

There's a load of detail in there! That was an empty room, took a week to set up and a very, very long day to clear.

The singer is my housemate, and I've known all the guys since college. They live and breath that band. The amount of work to try and make things like that happen with zero budget is insane, but goes to show if you put your mind to something... GBOL  :)

Not yet. Any previous single is on their Bandcamp.com (http://windowseats.bandcamp.com/) page. Think there are 4 more ready to go, possibly with this song as an EP. Not sure the next plans at present.

I'll be sure to pass on your praise.

Speaking of music production got me thinking about our other in-house music guru Tim.  Was wondering where he had got to, but just noticed he posted only a few days ago :)
