Litre of Light...???
But they are 2 litre bottles..... ???
-
These look interesting:
"A water bottle that doubles up as a solar powered lantern – perfect for camping! The Light Cup solar water bottle has an LED light under the lid that shines out through the water within. The lights are recharged by solar energy during the day for use at night. The white light can be used as a reading lamp and the red light flashes as an alarm."

The concept of using water to refract light could be applied to any wide neck, clear bottle and one of those round led battery operated cupboard lights....
I was considering making some sort of diffuser for my led light, made out of opaque white plastic but maybe the water idea is viable too.
