I forgot to ask if any of you were going to this tonight as I could have met up with you and said hello, awesome show. :)

If you guys are at the arena for anything else in the future then let me know as I live there most of the year.

Totally forgot you were there, we could have bought you a beer! Any idea why big bands still always go to the O2 in Dublin rather than the Odyssey when they're comparably sized?

Capacity, O2 holds more but we're working on that ourselves mate

According to Wikipedia the O2 Dublin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_O2_(Dublin)) holds 14,500 and the Odyssey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odyssey_Arena) 15,000 but that might be with a central stage. Would the acoustics in the O2 be better because it's designed specifically as an auditorium or maybe it's a tax thing? Or ofc it's just because Ireland technically has a higher population.

Wekipedia are wrong on both counts mate. O2 12500 ad the Odysseay 10600. Dublin is just a massive catchment area compared to Belfast, thats the main reason. As for accoustics sound engineers seem to give us better feed back. Something to do with the retractable seating units at the O2.

plus they can chalk up another counrty on the tour if they play dublin.
