Im gonna hit doan on fri nite for an overnighter and then maybe some walking on the saturday, anyone else fancy it, "rumblebum" says he might be going, would be good to put some names to faces! ;D

forecast for the weekend isnt looking too bad, as long as it stays (reasonably) dry! lol ;D

Alrite Redspud, hows things. What time are you thinking of gowing up Doan tomorrow night then, also il probably be parking my car at Meelmore lodge carpark, it would be really handy to leave it at the Ott carpark but ive heard bad reports about leaving the car there, its meant to be a really clear night visibility wise i think.
Alan.

going well alan thanks, dont know what time I'll be headin up, a mate of mine is for joining me and we were talking about parking in meelmore also (ott carpark would be SO handy but I wouldnt fancy risking it with my luck!)and taking a walk, to be honest the plans are very fluid at the moment, there is talk of camping on bearnagh instead of doan :o but if we are for doan then we will see you up there! good news about the clear night, its hard to beat stargazing in the mournes!

No worries matey, im not sure what time il be gowing up but il be there. If you end up on Bernagh youl probably see my wee hobo stove burning the fire logs like a good thing! Are you using a tent or doing a bivvy?
