Hi Guys
Do you know of anywhere that I can do the REC Emergency first aid course on a weekend??
Thanks Lou

Hi Lou,
Tollymore National Outdoor Centre are running REC level 3 on September 23-25 2011 for £152- cheaper than other providers and also includes accommodation and food- seems like a bargain. I'm planning on going.

Thanks Paul for that. I was hoping to get one sooner though and weekend as well. If not this one will be great.
Do you or anyone else know of any in the next month somewhere??
Thanks Lou

The tollymore course is cheap without the accommodation so its an absolute bargain with that thrown in.
have you tried Red Cross and St Johns?
-

Trained by Jill Maxwell/Crothers...??
Yeah, Jill did our course. I figured she was your wife when you threw up a pic of your new baby and couldn't figure out why I knew the mother of your child!! Then it all clicked into place! Are BAC still doing First Aid courses while she's off being a mum?
-
Yea, they are still doing them...
Jill trained up a guy called Rob to cover her maternity...

Thanks guys for all ur help!!

I met Raymond today and chatted about the possibility of doing a course for us. It could be as cheap as £45 per head for a 1 day REC (level 1) course if we can get 12 people on it (obviously costs more if less people go). I think i can get a suitable hall (for a small donation) to use in Newcastle that would save us hiring a place.
Here's his website www.firstaidni.com and he can be contacted on 07745 794595 if you want to see if you can tag along on any other courses happening.

Jill trained me too,
but you know that Drongo because you did the same course and you made us all sit and watch the video of you proposing to her! ;D
-
Hey LandyLiam that sounds great. Would we be able to gather 12 people up tho? Any idea when it would be?

This is interesting, I'll get a chat with you on Sat night about it!
