Anyine up for going to Kerry and taking on the Howling Ridge before the summers up?
-
I would love to do it again if theres a group going.
-
I would be interested, although it depends on dates.. Also need to get myself hill fit so any opportunities to go up the hills let me know.
-
never heard of it but sounds cool, but once again its in far far away land and i don't imagine i can spare another weekend :( i'll just stick to the mournes :)

Right I have a Dilema
Do I a) do the Howling Ridge if I can find someone who wants to come and do it of do I b) go to Donegal.
I want to do both but I dont have a partner as of yet for Howling Ridge and I dont want to wild camp in Donegal like everyone else does.
Anyone want to make this easy for me and come do Howling ridge on the 19th-21st August?

I plan to be down there that weekend with a couple of other people,, doing various routes up and around Carrauntoolhill and Mt Brandon, walking, scrambling and climbing.
if your down there im sure you would be welcome to join in,
PM me for details if you like..

Well to be honest it's not my trip anymore. I wanted to go to camp site and have a few beers and a camp fire on saturday night. And not wild Camp.
My intent was going to be drive to the start of the walk friday night. set up my tent. Get up Saturday and go for a long walk taking in as much as possible then go to the sleepyhollow camp site and have a BBQ, few beers and so great craic like Bloody Bridge. However others want to wild camp and I just dont feel it.
So I was thinking about a more challenging day down in Kerry if I could find a climbing partner.
