Nuff said!

Damn, I was totally up for that until...
'prepared to let their hair grow from now until Jan 2012'
After about 3 weeks growth I go nuts :o
And my beard growing skills are severely lacking ::) Can manage a goatee though ;D

My Friend was an extra in the last one and I had mentioned that they wanted men to grow beards until Jan, he said that the reason for this is they can use you anywhere. But anyone with a couple of weeks growth and short hair will be fine.. As long as you don't have sides, and chin straps they will take you..
Think he got 80 quid per day catering included.

Yeah he did the film 'Her Highness' and is now back in to do the second series.. TBH, the kids in our youth club call him 'Jesus'..
His beard for a while was that long they called him 'Santa'.. Thankfully he has recently cut it.. Bit scared of beards..

Well did anybody go to this yesterday?
-
I saw the queues on the news last night :o
There was one guy came all the way up from Waterford!!
-
I really wanted to try it but i was white water rafting in scotland at the weekend and didn't get back till late last night. :(
-
Whitewater rafting sounds awesome.. Where did you do it?
-
Yup, I went down about 6pm. Application form and photo. It was still busy but I was in and out in 15mins - my number was nearly 3400! My mates went first thing and just about avoided the massive queues.
Says they will just call you whenever, or maybe not at all... not a lot of guarantee to be growing your hair for 6 months. Mine's mid-length as it is so will probably just keep it that way.
Should really just sign up for extras NI... as Kayakgirl says, it's decent money and a bit of craic.

A friend on mine was out of work for a while and signed up and got to play a zombie for a while. A friend's dad has done a couple. One of them he was playing the role of a priest standing shaking hands at the doorway of the chapel at the bottom of the Newtownards Road. I'm sure he's relieved they aren't filming it there now :o

It was with Nae limits in Perthshire. We went down the river Tummel with a two tier waterfall at the end. It was good craic and i'd defo do it again but maybe a more mental river the next time.
