touching the void was a brilliant book, i watched the film the same day i finished the book and was dissappointed in the film, so def watch film first ;)

just watched the film K2 tonight, great stuff, really went through all the dilemas climbers must face on these extreme peaks when people get ill, some bits where very similar to touching the void, with a hollywood twist of course ;)
