Title: Laser comp 1...... Sports direct

Went to the till to buy a pair of socks in Sports Direct and noticed a terra nova laser competition behind the counter. I asked how much and after alot of futtering around and calling the manager over they told me it was £130. So I now have a laser comp and a pair of socks. I know alot of people seem to be interested in these tents so it might be worth ringing sports direct and seeing if they can get another one. Just have to explain to the wife how my socks cost £133.

You got a pair of socks for £3 !!! Ankle -socks ? I presume you haven't used the Laser yet. Bought one some time ago but didn't relish using the "pegs" on a winter trip. Replaced with aluminium/ alloy and the tent stood up to the Mourne weather  at 1000ft 2 wks before Xmas. Of course you get a lighter tent (been using micro Vango's ) and then download yourself with more food. Vinny.
