I've not been allowed to ride the mountain bike since my surgery in January.
On Thursday the physio told me that before I see her again in three weeks I have to have done a day's mountain biking.
;D ;D ;D ;D
So for medical reasons, i'm planning to ride from Ballynure to Glenarm along the Ulster Way on the 4th June.

I've no idea what it'll be like, except that there will be some pushing because it's the Antrim Hills, and it's been raining.
I'm totally out of shape, and I wasn't very good when I was in shape, so I'm looking for a couple of people to ride with me - preferably not hardcore mountain bikers, 'cos I won't be able to keep up.
Route choice is flexible, and I'm up for splitting it over Friday night/Saturday with a bivy in between.

You can't go against the doctor's advice! There will be a bit of pushing up Agnew's Hill I'd say.

I don't currently own a bike, but if you wanted company I'm sure Me and grace could join you for the night. She lives in Larne, so not too far away.

I went solo. Not entirely successful, but I'll put all the details on the NI-Wild blog.
