Post by: basloan82 on April 15, 2011
Hi all!
Just a quick hello to introduce myself. Names Brian and am based in Ballynahinch Co. Down. Would like to get into the outdoorsy life- used to do a bit of hill walking when i was younger but have been a couch potato for too long. interested ing fishing and camping and trying hard to get the 10 year old enthused!
Love the look of this site and looking forward to getting to know some like-minded peeps!

Best wishes
Ba

Hi Brian, welcome to the forum!  I think a fair few of us have joined this site to shrug off the "couch potato" reputation, so you're not alone :)  Take a look at the "Brandy and BBQ (http://www.ni-wild.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1911)" thread, might be a good one to get you started and should be ideal for a 10 year old.
