A row over which flag should fly at the St Patrick's Day celebrations in Downpatrick has cast a shadow over the planned festivities.

I could solve this easily, I'll just pop down to the town hall with the NI-Wild skull & crossbones flag and save the complex decision making.

This is why I have chosen the path of Pastafarianism and now worship at the altar of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Oddly that means since Pirates are central to the dogma, the skull&crossbones flag is actually a religious icon ;D Never noticed that before!
