Title: Where's Dowser Competition

As regular visitors to the NI-Wild Website know, I have one or two bits of kit which are DPM Camouflage  ::)

Below is a picture of Hen Mountain, in the Mournes, and on my decent I decided to lie down and have a rest.

The object of the game is similar to "Spot the Ball" All you have to do is locate me in the picture and PM me the 6 Digit Grid Reference eg 065 035.  I have not Photoshopped the photo in any way and I did not use any additional Camouflage.  I am still wearing my rucksack too!!!

Awesome thread.

I have an idea for a similar compo but in real life where Dowser hides in a field and we have a trebuchet full of blamange :D

was up hen mountain today and happened to recognise a scene so took a pic and now having some fun going through it for missing rocks  ;D

06 up, 29 across is my bet, looks like a leg and the backpack shape a little above.

I read the closing date was yesterday I think but I can't see if anyone guessed right yet...

If I'm wrong then I've no idea - go NO show old boy!   ;D

The Where's Dowser Competition is now Closed

Our Eagle Eyed members are Landyliam and Fourman who both win a Jolly Roger which can be flown triumphantly at their next overnighter.
 
The correct Grid Reference was anything between 170110 to 175113

i knew i was on to a winner when my visit to hen mountain confirmed my initial location  :D i'm off to do a few more spot the balls as i'm on a roll, fingers crossed for the photo comp too  ;)

p.s. keep the flag for the next where's dowser competition, i have a selction of jolly rodgers already from my pirate days  8)

i didnt climb hen mountain ,but i do have a 22" moniter that helps . Just in case yawl think it was a family bias thing i let my two kids find whally. I too have a jolly rodger already from my pirate days (i remember landyliam well sunk his ship manys a time aargh!!)but i,ll use this one on my trip to Salt island .

Bic is right they are two different pictures. In the first Dowser is lying face down so not to see his face and the second shows him sitting up so as to show where he is.

I think that was the point... you had to find Dowser in the first photo.  The second photo is just to show where he was hiding!  It's not like he wasn't in the first photo, as that would be a bit of a let down :D
