got this piece of kit at the weekend . Its an ajustable gas canister attachment , it fits the msr pocket rocket and equivalant stoves and adds stability when cooking that all important hot meal at the end of a days hiking. It fits two different gas canisters and folds away neatly after use . only costs about a tenner .check it out at www.msrgear.com

I have one of the Jetboil ones and I use it with any can top stove, it makes a world of difference when it's windy. I think you can buy a version in Cotswolds.

I lost count, to be honest I had one of these on but a plastic one. That was not the reason I dropped water at least 3 times it was the fact I was boiling water on a pocket rocket.

I'm in the same boat as RedLeader and use the pot support that came with my Jetboil. Primus make them as well, think I've spotted them in Cotswold and Tiso. They are definitely handy if you are using a canister top stove!

I seen it in a outdoor magazine abt a month ago , spoke to one of the boys in surf mountain who happly ordered one up for me to take a look at no obligation and it seemed a well designed item.

I got a plastic canister stand in Cotswold earlier this month, I think it cost about £7. Folds down very small and can be hidden away very nicely.
