Title: Mountain Sojourns - Guided Mourne Moonlit Walks

Mountain Sojourns ( http://www.mountainsojourns.co.uk/ ) are doing a monthly moonlit walk in the Mournes.

Next one is this Sat night (19/2/11)

Meeting Place Bryansford Post Office 7.00pm -11.00pm

A guided walk to enjoy the mountains in a different light and the night sky with the full moon. For a bit of craic with like minded hill walkers.

What to Bring

Boots                        
Waterproofs
Rucsac
Warm clothing including gloves and hat
Some food/snacks
Flask hot drink
Head Torch/spare batteries

If you do not have a head torch, I have some that you may use bring 3 spare AAA batteries.

Cost £15 per person

as this walk is lead by and trained mountain leader its a good chance to get up the hills at night, not advisable to go up there on your own in the dark (although i do it all the time  ::) )

i've attached the application form, might go myself as i've been practising some night photography and if the skies clear then it would be a cracker

Walked up to mourne wall when it was nearly a full moon no need for headtorch really enjoyed it . A proper tramp over afew summits under the full moon would be something special , looking forward to your pics if you make it

The next Mountain Sojourns walk is this Sat night at 7pm, if the weather is right i think i'll be going on this one.
