Is that just mesh at the bottom far end of the tent? Just thinking a bit of a wet point?

Looks like its roomy but the fact its single wall puts me off a bit.  I think single wall is fine if its nice and light but at 1.5kg, give or take, it seems quite heavy.  My Vaude Hogan Ultralight 1 (mouthful!) weighs in around 1.3kg but has a seperate inner/outer.  I bought it on offer for around £100.

For single walled I quite like the look of Tarptent (http://www.tarptent.com/) and Mountain Laurel Designs (http://www.mountainlaureldesigns.com/).  Seem big on the lightweight circuit and offer shelters that have the weight benefits of a tarp with the pitching convenience of a tent.  They will definitely be on my shopping list if I'm ever in the market for a shelter again... :)
