Whilst having lunch at the cafe at Woodlawn Garden Centre, Carryduff I found this on a noticeboard:-

1st Carryduff Scouts at St. Ignatius Church are holding an evening event at which Dawson Stelfox will give a talk on "Ireland to Everest and beyond..."

Tuesday Thursday 3rd February 2011 at 7:30PM doors open at 7:00PM

Adult £8 Child £5

I meant to post about this, seeing that it is my Scouts that are going to the World Jamboree are organising it as a fundraiser but I kept forgetting...

Looks like it's going to be a good night, Dawson is talking about his North Ridge summit of Everest...
