It's melting well in Bangor. At least now i will be able to get the car out. It has been in the driveway for two weeks as it is totally useless in the snow and ice.

Must admit i'm glad to see the back of it for a while, there isn't a drop left in my garden (in Downpatrick), the mournes are misted out so can't see whats left up there.

my mondeo was awful in the snow, but the tracking was very badly out, got that fixed and put a new set of tyres on it, it was so good after that i stopped using the land rover  :o and even took my wifes rear wheel drive car out few times as is was more fun  ;D

I was driving my parents Mondeo and it was great in the snow and ice. The rubber you have make a great difference. The sport tyres on my car are horrible.
