pretty Flys for a white guy 8)
Ice axes make me all giddy. Got my Grivel air-tech the other week, and giggle like a kid everytime I pick it up... to have one for each hand - oh the carnage!
Nearly got the G12 crampons as well, but decided to try the BD sabetooth. On that note, I did get those Omegas in the end. I think I can make them work: The fit appears to be as Scarpa recommend - I certainly couldn't have them any smaller, although the arch seems too big or too far forward (weird, as I have quite high arches - would really kill a flat foot)? I might borrow a heat gun and gently soften them a bit to mould the outer as well as the inner! Toasty and light at any rate. Then for a wee scitter more snow to try them in anger before les Alpes.
