Title: BBC Climbing programme
Post by: twentyclicks on October 25, 2010
I see there is a 60min programme called 5 climbs, 5 islands (ep.1) on the iPlayer here:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00vg4qt/5_Climbs_5_Islands_Episode_1/

ONLY AVAILABLE UNTIL TOMORROW @ 7:59pm (Tues 26th).

Appears to be going out on BBC2 Scotland on Tues @ 7pm for those with the channels.

Premise: Dave MacLeod and Tim Emmett doing some new climbs on the islands.  Did anyone see The Great Climb in August when they were on Sron Uladail?  It was a 4hr live broadcast!!  I see a few torrents for it but the smallest is 4GB so not sure if I'll bother.... was it any good??  They should edit a 1hr highlights show.

I Have the The Great Climb recorded on my sky box.

Would not have a clue how to put it on my computer. (It might be 4GB because it is in HD)

Great Programme though.

Thanks for the link, will have to check that out tonight!

I watched The Great Climb, put up a post about it here (http://www.ni-wild.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1368.0).  I really enjoyed watching it, although they did show a highlights version on BBC HD which is what I watched.  Think it cut it down to around 2 hours.  Would be good if you could find a torrent for that!

Living room bivvy  :)  Someone put the whisperlite on for a brew... pass another Clif bar!  Sounds like a plan when the weather and nights close in.  Was there ever an Asgard Project viewing, or is that another one on the cards?

One of the sites I'm a member of has a 900MB SD version. I can send you an invite or burn the .avi onto DVD and post it to you. PM me.

I'll grab .avi copies of these programs if anyone wants them after the drop off iPlayer.

Channel 990 on Sky.  Get your planner set up and expect the inevitable clash with Peppa Pig.

I've the Asgard project on dvd and the short version of the great climb on my sky box.

Is there a way to take your recordings from your sky box?
